This Privacy Policy applies with respect to information we collect from: • visitors to any of our Hospitals and Sites and any other websites that link to this Privacy Policy; • in-person, phone, facsimile, email, text and other mobile and electronic communications between you and us; • third-party websites like Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, etc.; for which we may maintain accounts or otherwise have interactions with you; and • third-parties acting on our behalf or providing services to us, including through any mobile platform or content, that may link or refer to this Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy is subject to recurrent updates (refer to Updates to Our Privacy Policy below) and may change from time to time, so please check this Privacy Policy from time to time for any such updates. By accessing and/or using our Sites, visiting any of our Hospitals or procuring services or goods from us after we make any such updates to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have consented to such updates. We will notify you of material revisions to this Privacy Policy by posting a notice on our home page for a reasonable period of time and updating the "Last Updated" date of this Privacy Policy.

Information Companion Animal Hospital Collects

We may collect several types of personally identifiable data and information from patients, customers and visitors to our Hospitals and Sites, including the following: • Contact and demographic information such as your name, postal code, age, gender, preferences, residential or office address, telephone number, email address, and other contact information. • Computer hardware and software and network data and information obtained during your visit to our Sites, including your IP address, browser, domain names, operating system, device type, location data, traffic data, browsing actions, access times, usage details, websites and cookies. • Information relating to your commercial or patient relationship with us, including veterinary business and/or practice information, service or goods purchase history, billing and shipping information, records and correspondences between us and you, credit or debit card, bank, PayPal, or other payment options and other information with respect to goods or services procured by you from us. • Information relating to your user names, password and other access credentials and any internet content you post or submit to us such as comments or photos posted to blogs, message boards, social networking platforms or other interactive forums. Note that Companion Animal Hospital does not consider personal information to include any information relating to your pet, including species, breed, birthday, or treatment or visitation history.

How Companion Animal Hospital Collects Information

We may collect data and information about you from various sources and in a number of manners, including: • Directly from you when you provide it; • Automatically as you use and visit our Sites; • From our affiliated companies and/or Hospitals; and • From third party sources.

Companion Animal Hospital Does Not Sell Personal Information

Storage and Security of Your Personal Information

We may store and process any personal information collected from you in Canada or any other country where we and our affiliates, subsidiaries or vendors maintain data repositories or facilities. Note that any personal information that is collected by us from you or provided by you as outlined in this Privacy Policy may be stored or processed outside your country and in a country that may not offer equivalent privacy protection under its laws as your country. We strive to maintain the security and confidentiality of your personal information and have installed various commercially reasonable technical and other safeguards to protect your personal information from potential intrusion. Despite these efforts, no security safeguards are 100% secure and we recommend that you also take further measures to protect yourself and your personal information, including by installing and maintaining updated anti-virus software and security programs and keeping confidential your access credentials. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Visitors to Our Sites From Outside Canada

Our Sites and the services and content on our Sites are primarily intended for users in Canada. By using our Sites, you consent to the collection, use, processing, and storage of your personal information in Canada. Your personal information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside of Canada, including where our service providers maintain facilities. Such jurisdictions may not offer the same level of privacy protection as Canada.

Not Intended for Minors

Our Sites are not intended for minors (i.e., persons under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence) and we do not knowingly collect or store personal information from minors. However, we cannot prohibit minors from visiting the Sites and rely on parents and guardians of such minors to decide what content on our Sites (if any) is appropriate for such minors to consume. Do-Not-Track Disclosures

We do not support "Do Not Track" browser settings and do not currently participate in any Do Not Track frameworks that would allow us to respond to signals or other mechanisms from you regarding the collection of your personal information.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time; therefore, we encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to be informed of any updates with respect to how we use and protect your personal information. Note that you will be bound by any updates to our Privacy Policy after such updates to our Privacy Policy have been posted.
